New Features in Discovery Attender 3.7

Currently undergoing Beta testing, Discovery Attender 3.7 is scheduled for release by the end of second quarter 2011. In other words, pretty darn soon! Version 3.7 is a major release with lots of new features and upgrades that will excite both new and existing customers! Here’s a quick glimpse at what’s coming.

First off, new areas to search! (See below.)

Native NSF Searching: instead of converting NSF files to PST format (or using our Discovery Attender for Notes product), version 3.7 allows users to search, filter, manage and export data directly to and from NSF format.
Exchange 2010 Archive Support: To take advantage of Exchange 2010 functionality, Discovery Attender 3.7 has improved access to Online Archives and recovery folders.

SharePoint File Searching: search filter and collect files stored in this popular content management solution.

MSG File Searching: MSG files stored separately from mail stores have traditionally been processed as files. With the new release, users can now use email specific criteria, such as address or sent date.

MSG File Searching: process MSG files with new email specific criteria, such as address, message type, or sent date – in addition to traditional keyword and dates.SharePoint File Searching: Discovery Attender 3.7 introduces the ability to search, filter and collect files stored in this popular content management solution.

In addition to searching new areas, Discovery Attender 3.7 also incorporates a whole host of new features to help you manage and organize your data.

Compare Searches: Save time and redundant costs by identifying search results found in previous searches.

Re-Search Selected Tasks: To the delight of users everywhere, Discovery Attender can now rerun a search on just specific tasks.

Branch Expression Reporting: Keywords can be reported on as individual keywords, entire expressions or both.

Plus, we’ve added Custodian Management, Proximity Search Improvements, Additional Metadata Collection and more.
