New Features are Announced!

A Beta release of Discovery Attender 4.2 is now available for testing by active customers.  User requests form the backbone of new features included in the new of Discovery Attender.  Please read below for more details on the product enhancements.  Please contact Marta Farensbach at mfarensbach@sherpasoftware.com for a demo of the features and if you would like to be included in testing of this Beta release.  If all goes well, Sherpa expects the full release in Q1 of 2020.

New Features in Discovery Attender 4.2

Search Criteria

New options include filters for messages with attachments, and handling of items without dates. Additionally, PSTs found in file searches can now be processed automatically as an email store without having to create an exception or run a separate search.

Search MBOX Natively

Currently, MBOX email stores that are created by Apple, Google and others can be converted using the PreSearch Tool.  In version 4.2, MBOX files can be natively searched using standard email based criteria without conversion.  The results can be exported to .EML files.

Office 365 Filters

To improve performance and reporting with Office 365 data stores, Discovery Attender 4.2 will now include optional keyword filters that interact with the native Exchange index to speed up processing.

PreSearch Tool Improvements

To maximize efficiency when exporting, converting or collecting statistics, new multi-threaded capabilities have been added to the PreSearch tool.  Additionally, deduplication of PSTs has been optimized and additional features such as detailed relationship views (part of the Snapshot function) is now available.

Views & Statistics

Discovery Attender’s result views have  been enhanced by improved reporting including identifying unique keywords and single keyword results.
